Most of our products are ROHS and REACH compliant as well as 100% Conflict Mineral Free.  Please contact us directly by email to request product certifications. 

Most of our products do not have a minimum order quantity requirement. While some do, we can be flexible, however, we do have a standard minimum order amount as shown below.
Standard minimum order amount: $100 CAD for orders within Canada and $200 USD for orders shipping to the US. $250 USD to other international destinations.
Note: Minimums are either halved or waived on first time orders.

We can offer custom made or modified fittings if the volume is high enough. Please ask us about our custom fittings fabrication abilities.
SAMPLES:  If possible, samples will be made available upon request and in many cases free of charge. Requesting party will be responsible for all transport costs.

Once your order is received, an order confirmation will be sent to acknowledge receipt and provide estimated shipping time.  Once shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information either from us directly or from the carrier’s website or both. 

We can ship collect using your account and preferred carrier at no extra charge by us or we can ship prepaid and charge.  We have accounts and/or access to every major package carrier (UPS/FedEx/DHL/Purolator/and more) and dozens of LTL companies.  We have many options available to us with great rates and we never mark up transport costs to clients.  You pay what we pay. 

Shipping costs vary and are dependent on weight, size, volume and distance from our distribution warehouse in Montreal, Quebec.  If you prefer to use your own carrier, we can ship collect using your account or we can ship prepaid and charge using one of our carriers.  Our prepay & charge carriers include UPS, FedEx, DHL, Purolator, GLS, Canpar, USPS, ICS Courier 

For in stock products, we have a standard 2-3 business days lead time, however we often ship within 1-2 days.  If requested, we can accommodate same day shipping for orders received before 12pm EDT. 

Lead times for out of stock or special order items is product specific. 

We specialize in client specific stocking programs to reduce lead times for products that would not normally be stock items.  The allows us to reduce lead times to just a few days instead of weeks.  Please ask us how this works. 

We ship all over the globe.  Period. 

All duties, taxes and customs clearance fees shall be paid by the Customer in the destination country. 

We accept payments of: 

CAD:  by check, all major credit cards, Interac eTransfer and EFT/Direct Deposit. 

USD:  by check, all major credit cards and International Wire Transfer. 

Payment/Credit Terms: What are your payment terms? 

Standard payment terms are Net30, subject to credit check and approval.  All first-time orders are payable prior to shipping.  Other credit terms are available as requested.

To be eligible for a credit, return requests must be submitted within 30 days of the shipment date and pre-approved by Aims Fasteners. A Return Material Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained and clearly marked on the return packaging. 

All return shipments must be sent freight prepaid except for items damaged during shipping, determined to be defective by Aims or parts incorrectly shipped due to error by Aims. 

Special order and non-stock products are not returnable. 

Returned items must be in original, saleable condition and packaging. 

Claims for shortages must be reported within 15 days of shipment receipt. Otherwise, the order will be considered complete as invoiced.
